Career Essentials High School

Program Information

Career Essentials High School is open to any high school student who resides in the five boroughs of New York City. Workshops take place at the Futures and Options office at 120 Broadway in the Financial District of Manhattan. Students have the opportunity to network with and learn from fellow peers from different boroughs and schools.  

Schedule

Workshops are held once a week for two hours during a 13-week span in both the fall and spring semesters.  Students will be invited to participate in either the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday groups from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. In order to participate, students must be able to arrive at 120 Broadway by 4:30 PM.

Student Responsibilities

Students are required to attend and be on time to all workshops and events that are part of the program.  It is important to communicate in advance with the Futures and Options program staff if you have any schedule conflicts.   

Application Process

In order to enroll in the program, interested students must complete an online application and must attend a group interview at the Futures and Options office. Interested students should provide an email address that they check regularly on the application.

The application for the Spring 2019 session is currently closed. Please check back in September 2019 for information on applying to our Fall 2019 session.
