Lenisa joined Futures and Options in January 2019. Prior to joining the organization, she spent three years abroad in France and Senegal working for the American Library in Paris as a Volunteer Coordinator and for Grow, an organization aimed towards helping young women in Senegal start their own social businesses. Her experience with Grow, working with youth from underserved communities, and her own personal mission is what led her to ultimately joining Futures and Options.
She graduated in 2015 from Manhattan College with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and a minor in Arabic. Lenisa enjoys learning languages, her favorite being French. She is excited to use all of her resources and knowledge she's gained to make a positive impact on the lives of Futures and Options students.
