Joanna Munoz
Joanna Munoz currently serves as Futures and Options’ Director of Foundation relations, responsible for expanding the organization’s grant portfolio and managing relationships with foundation partners. Previously, Joanna served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, collaborating with schools and CBOs to bring Futures and Options’ career development programming to more youth, and as Program Director, overseeing the implementation of all programs and the expansion of Futures and Options’ network of business partners. She began her career at Futures and Options as a Program Coordinator, working directly with students, and then as Business Engagement Manager, recruiting and onboarding employer partners to participate in The Internship Program, before becoming Program Director.
After college, Joanna became a Philadelphia Corps Member with Teach For America as a middle school special education teacher. She has a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, with a concentration in urban and social policy. She lives in New Jersey with her family and two dogs, and loves knitting, reading, and reality TV.
