As a Program Coordinator with Futures and Options, Kyle recruits students, facilitates workshops, and guides participants through engaging career development programs including the Student Youth Employment Project (SYEP) partnership with CUNY. Kyle previously mentored ESL students through the nuances of the college admissions process and taught creative writing as a Senior Educational Consultant with Apolish – Thinktown Education.
He graduated as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a Bachelors in Philosophy. Inspired by public school students' stories in West Philadelphia, Kyle spent a year as a documentary filmmaker within Penn's Graduate School of Education. He also facilitated philosophy seminars with underserved youth in a partnership with Philadelphia Futures that culminated in students defending their own theses at an academic consortium called Pedagogy In Practice. Beyond education, Kyle discovered a second passion for biking while living in Philadelphia and spends much of his time pedaling though the streets of New York.
